What exactly is Floatspace?
Floatspace is a lightweight space for the things you don’t want to lose.
Instead of putting every thought into a notes app and forgetting where you saved it, Floatspace keeps ideas, reminders, references, and unfinished thoughts right where you work — as lightweight Cards across your Mac’s Desktop.
No folders. No inbox. No digging through notes. Just leave things where they belong and come back to them when you need them.

Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored strictly locally on your Mac. The app never sends your notes, cards, or file structure to external third-party servers.
How much does Floatspace cost?
Floatspace is currently 100% free and built independently as a solo project.

Currently, the sole focus is on crafting the ultimate native macOS experience. While Windows support isn't planned for the immediate future, we may consider it down the road as the project grows.
